Ideal as an overnight stop going to or from the Highlands.

  Hadrian's Wall,  Carlisle,  North Penines ,  Dumfries and Galloway coastal trail and Northern Solway.

We are only 1 hour from Keswick in the Northern Lake district, 1/2 hour from Penrith . The Scottish Borders, The Rievers trail and Keilder Forest are also easily accessed destinations as well.  Glasgow and Edinburgh are an easy 2 hour drive away
